We took the opportunity to tease Preston a bit with the theme for the night.

BOOGERS.

He had booger cards and a booger picking family.

Brenden Gets His Glasses

Do you remember when it was nerdy to have glasses? I would have died from embarrassment if I had glasses when I was kid. No way was I going to be called four-eyes, point dexter, braniac and so on, but today it's pretty cool to have glasses. Brenden has been anxiously awaiting the arrival of his glasses. He picked some that look almost like Prestons and finally last night they came in and we were able to pick them up. He could hardly wait.

Doesn't he look cute???

Is There A Cure???

Here is my self-portrait on my 37th Birthday. Is there some kind of cure for this getting older thing? I feel about 25, but geez, the sledding accident at Christmas time, made me realize that I'm not as young as I used to be! Alas, life is good...

I got to play my favorite game on my birthday...Scrabble.
Some words may not look completely right, but that's what happens when you play with a seven year old.

I got to eat my favorite cake which is Strawberry. I have to say that this was probably the best strawberry cake that I have ever had. Just warm enough to melt the ice cream, but not so hot that the frosting melted. Yummy....

I got to share with my favorite people. They sing the sweetest birthday song. Little hands helping take the candles from the cake.

I wanted to put a picture of my favorite hubby on - whom I love and adore, but he is feeling under the weather and didn't want to have his sickly face posted...It's still handsome to me!

Life Scout

Mom get's pinned.

Jordan & Jeff

Troop 433 - Mark, Jared, Jordan, Tanner, Caden & Jeff.

Proud Mama
On Sunday, Jordan received his Life Scout Award. This is just one step before his Eagle Scout. He has been working so hard and pulled off his final award for this level at the very last minute. The scout leader, Jeff, was sure to thank the parents for pushing the kids, but Jordan did it on his own! We're so proud of him!

Here are some pictures taken of Spike over the past year. We certainly love our little puppy.

Unfortunately, tonight, he was hit by a car and killed. We will miss our favorite puppy.
