BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Isn't she the most beautiful five year old litte girl!
This is the dress that Grandma Nancy gave her.
She got it a day early so she could wear it to church.
Ella opens her presents...

And her cards....

And blows out the candles...

Before the action begins

It's hard to believe that five years ago we added this lovely little lady to our family.

We are so grateful for her special spirit in our home!

Baptism & Scouts

Another Birthday has come...It's crazy, but I didn't actually get any pictures of Brenden having cake or opening his presents. It seems like those things took a back burner to his baptism and his entering scouts.

Even though his birthday was on Thrusday, Sister Thomas invited Brenden to scouts on Wednesday. He was so excited - and looks so great in his uniform.

Dad & Brenden both look so handsome right before his baptism!

Dad's side of the family. We were so lucky to have so many wonderful people come and support Brenden! Grandpa Rowley gave an awesome talk about the Holy Ghost

Mom's side of the family. Grandma & Papa came from California for this special event. Uncle David and Aunt Emily came, too. We hope they felt the spirit of this ordinance.

Our family -

Mom & Brenden - He is a momma's boy!

Three generations

We know that Brenden will continue to make good choices in his life and as he gets the Holy Ghost that he will be guided in righteousness. We love him so much!

THE PARENTS OF A TEENAGER....

Jordan celebrated his birthday and now we are officially the parents of a teenager! While there was no boogery theme like Preston's birthday, it was fun nonetheless. Jordan, as most boys his age, wanted to some new clothes.
It was the first time in 13 years that we didn't buy a toy for his birthday...sigh.

Boring....clothes, clothes, & more clothes

He did get a very funny card from his brothers and sister about the top 10 reasons they loved having him as a brother. The three favorites were:
1. You'd make an ugly sister
2. You make it easy for Mom & Dad to love me most &
3. I always feel so smart around you.
He was a good sport about it.

Lots & Lots of Candles

Now you see the flames - Now you don't!

He is truly an awesome young man! We are so blessed to have him as part of our family and as a big brother to his brothers and sister. Welcome to the hardest years of your life!
