Let It Snow - Let It Snow - Let It Snow

Our family loves the snow! We have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of the lovely whiteness and just in time for Christmas. These are the scrapbook pages I did of our early Christmas and sledding time with my brother Dave.
Merry Christmas!

Christmas Party

Santa came to visit our Christmas party tonight. It was very fun. All the pictures turned our very cute, except Jordan's was just a bit blurry. Also we got our Christmas tree tonight. Hopefully we'll get it decorated soon!

Alfred P. Sloan Award

On Friday our office had the honor of being recongnized as having a "flexible" workplace. We were one of eight honorees in the Treasure Valley. The ceremony focused on family friendly workplaces, flexible work and time off policies, and all sorts of other things that should be the "norm", but apparently are the exception.

Our entire staff attended the breakfast and it was truly amazing to look out at the crowd and see their smiling faces in support. I found myself very close to tears as I looked at the sweet faces of the people that have been entrusted to our employement. Both Jim and I recognize the exceptional staff that we employ and are trying to make a difference in their lives, too. We wish that they could sometimes know of the great sacrifices being made on their behalf, but nonetheless, it is also sometimes better that they don't know.

We had these great shirts made especially for this event and everyone looked amazing! I will add a couple of pictures as soon as I have them available.

BRONCO NATION

Tonight we went to the last game of the Bronco season. Jordan went as "Darth Bronco" and Preston went as "Bat Bronco." They made these awesome masks and we made capes to complete their outfit. It was freezing cold, but we had a great night as the Broncos become the WAC champions of 2008.

The Christensens...

Today I got an e-mail from Tara Christensen! It was so great to hear from her. So with that in mind, I am going to post a couple of scrapbook pages that I did when we went 4 Wheeling with their family in the summer. They are so great and we are anxiously awaiting for their time to be up so that they can move back!

Happy Thanksgiving in blog land!

The blog is up and running...

We spent yesterday afternoon with Jim's cousin Scott. Our plan was to watch the Bronco game, yet somehow Heather and I got side-tracked by digital scrapbooking, blogging, and such. Kerry joined the party and while my friend Amylee had helped me set-up the blog site, I hadn't paid enough attention to make it cute. Heather and Kerry helped me cuten in up and so now I can actually post and be ok with how it looks.

At any rate, here is a cute Bronco Scrapbook page to help commemorate their win on Reno.
